This document is the abbreviated version of the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health, known as CIF. The main objective of this classification is to offer a unified and standardized language and a conceptual framework for the description of health and “health-related” states. The reviwed classification defines the health components and some components related to “well-being and health” (such as education, work, etc.).

ID-9-CM is the clinical modification of the International Statistical Classification of Diseases, Ninth Revision (ICD-9), by the World Health Organization.
